Audio Video Show Warsaw 2017 starts this Thursday! And yours truly will be there, covering the entire three days.
This might come as a bit of a surprise for many of our readers but let me give you some numbers just to put things into the right perspective. Last time I spoke with the organizers they told me that the number of booked rooms was more than 170! along with some 60 booths, divided in three locations, the Sobieski Radisson SAS hotel, the PGE National Stadium and the Golden Tulip hotel. The sheer amount of rooms and exhibitors, with over 750 brands showing off their products makes the Warsaw show easily the second biggest in Europe, trailing only the Munich High End show.
This is a first for me, but Warsaw has grown so much in recent years, it only makes sense to go there and see what’s the fuss all about. By the time you read this I will be on a plane; I am quite certain this won’t be the last time we fly to Poland.
You may note that Part-Time Audiophile had covered the WAS event by Thomas Hyniewski and Norman Williams as early as 2014 and 2015 (reports available).
Quite right, Thomas. See coverage here!
