Last year, the LSA Statement 1 was one of my favorite products at RMAF. I think they got edged this year in the mini-stand-mount category by the Sjöfn speakers, but only because the Scandinavian monitors were cheaper. These $2600 Chinese-made and American-modded speakers are truly awesome. They’re one of my favorite speakers. They’re marvelous.

I love how little guys (or rather, manufacturers showing with little speakers) can make such a dramatic impact at a show like RMAF. Each time I find them, LSA has put together a highly enjoyable demo. If you’ve never heard the speakers before, do so. You’re going to be shocked. I was. Again!
